Appointments & Packages

  • Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly Appointments are available.  Therapy Intensives can also be booked based on your needs and goals.  A regular appointment time will be mutually agreed with you, and adjusted over time based on your therapy needs and goals.

    1. All Single Appointments are to be paid in full at the time of booking. Credit or Visa Debit Cards are accepted or a Direct Bank Transfer can be made if the transfer receipt is emailed or text through at the time of booking. Single Appointments are $190 for 60 minutes.

    2. Five Appointment Pack can be paid for using Credit or Visa Debit Cards or a Direct Bank Transfer.  The total cost is $875  ($175 per 60 minute session.)

    3. Ten Appointment Pack can be paid for using Credit or Visa Debit Card or a Direct Bank Transfer.  The total cost is $1650  ($165 per 60 minute session.)

    4. ADHD Adult/Parent Consultations are to be paid in full at the time of booking. Credit or Visa Debit Cards are accepted or a Direct Bank Transfer can be made if the transfer receipt is emailed or text through at the time of booking.  Appointments are $150 for a 45 minute zoom and 15 minutes is then used to collate and email through discussed resources. 

    All applicable credit card transaction fees are absorbed by Living In Bloom. Appointments which have not been paid for in advance will not proceed. Clients authorise Living In Bloom to charge credit cards on file in accordance with the above provisions.  Credit Card data is protected by Stripe security which can be reviewed here Stripe Financial Security  

     

Yes. Private Health Care Rebates are available for the insurers listed below. A relevant receipt with the information required by each of the respective insurers is provided to the client to claim the rebate directly from their health fund. Rebates are available for the following Private Health Care Funds

Yes. I work with NDIS Clients who are PLAN Managed or SELF Managed.

No. As a Private Counsellor we do not offer Medicare rebates, which is reflected in our lower fee structure. A referral from your GP is not required to attend Private Counselling but we can provide your GP with updates if you wish. Private Counselling is an important option if you do not want, or qualify for, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). Private Counselling offers a broad range of evidence-based therapies ensuring a person-centered approach to healing and change within a supportive therapeutic relationship.

2 Business Days Notice is required to cancel or change your appointment.
Cancellation within 2 business days notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee. For Packages it will be charged as 1 appointment. Notice outside of 2 business days will result in a reschedule to an available appointment time.

All clients have a right to confidentiality and a safe and trusted space in therapy. Confidential information is all communication, appointments, discussions, notes, and client file notes regarding a client’s therapy. Living In Bloom including any of its Directors or employees, cannot share or disclose confidential information without your written consent. There are two exceptions to confidentially which counsellors are professionally bound by under Australian law and as outlined in the Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics and Practice. If you or another person is at serious risk of imminent harm (suicide risk, harm to others, a major crime, child protection), and in very rare situations an Australian court of law can request information via a subpoena.
As a Registered Counsellor in Private Practice, you do not require a referral or a mental health plan to book an appointment with Living In Bloom. We happily accept referrals and will review mental healthcare plans if requested. We also work with other mental healthcare and medical practitioners as part of a client’s shared care.
Face-to-face appointments are held at Living In Bloom, located in a residential street in Pagewood, Sydney, NSW 2035. Street parking is freely available. The practice is within walking distance of Kingsford Juniors light rail station and numerous major bus stops.
Yes, clients can choose to participate in all or some of their appointments online. Online or Telehealth appointments are scheduled using ZOOM or Powerdiary telehealth. Telehealth appointment information is provided to clients in advance.
Initial (first) appointments run for 90 minutes. All subsequent appointments run for 60minutes and clients can choose to attend weekly or fortnightly. Client’s often start off weekly and move to fortnightly once therapy is flowing. The choice to begin and continue therapy lies completely with the individual. We will provide recommendations on how often and how long therapy should go for.
